FINALLY! *sighs in relief*
had my 21st bday celebration earlier than usual, coz... it was cny n most of my frens will be back fr uni, plus my sis was around so we cud celebrate her 19th bday wit a double bday bash!!!
mum was at grandma's place preparing n cook some dishes, i wasnt doin much, just help cool the drinks n buy breakfast for sisters. overheard grandpa saying that he wants to hire ppl to put up tents in case it rains... but i tot it was a bit too much cos its just a bday celebration, not a wedding dinner. n if it does rain i think my grandparents place to accommodate all the guests. so i went back home with breakfast n did nothing much till it was time to go back to grandma's place in the evening.
but much to my horror, mum called home in the aftnoon to inform me that grandpa has indeed hired ppl to put up tents n now it looks like we're having a wedding dinner rather than a bday party -.-" guess i'll just hv to see it for myself later that day... n true it was!!! wat my mum had said... it reminded me of my uncle's wedding few years back...
n soon the guests started arriving... n the gals went around my grandparents huge garden to take pics b4 it got dark. a classic pic of the sakais... missing out dear Diymitra...
well though it was suppose to be me n my sis's bday, the number or frens n relatives that my grandparents n mum invited were way more than our frens. now wit the tents n relatives, i sure does look like a wedding goin on, n this is just my 21st bday celebration only, imagine if it was my real wedding, i bet my grandpa will invite the whole Serendah town.
the weather wasnt on our side that day. while the guests were happily eating n chatting away in the garden, dark clouds started to gather n my mum was rushing us to cut the cake. so we had no choice but to give in to mum n carry on wit the song-singing, candles-blowing and cake-cutting ceremony though it was still quite early. was suppose to do it outdoors but Mother Nature didnt give me face so we had to move indoors to this very spot where my sisters n i celebrated most of our bdays.

its back to the same old place on my 21st bdayn see the so semanagt cousin trying to help blow out the candles
the kids were fast, in a blink of an eye, grapes n cherries were gone

Then, it was gift opening session...
most of my gifts can be categorised into few main categories:
accessories, chocolates, bags n ANGPAUS!!!
n most of them came in 3...

This is my favourite gift. a handmade scrapbook from my childhood fren.

it has photos of us when we were back in kindergarten, primary sch n secondary sch. n though we're not as close to each other as we used to, Carmen, i want u to know that i treasure u a lot as a good fren now n forever. looking thru those photos brought back lots of memories n tears to my eyes.
This was the loot of the day, plus RM410 of angpaus(but gave it back to mum, debit: bday expenses; credit: cash).
n not forgetting this bottle of liquor from my 'kai zai'its really an unforgettable 21st bday!!!
thx to all my relatives, frens, bf n family!!!
thx for all the wishes, gifts n angpaus!!!
