Its Back to Uni

well this was suppose to be up yesterday, but due to some power n internet connection failure, i only manage to get it up this very moment. really a good start for the new semester :-(

yesterday, for the 1st time in my life, i paid a library fine for not returning my books on time. borrowed 2 books to read during the sem break but then they were overdue aft 2 weeks n sem break is 3 weeks. but there's no point taking the trouble to come all the way back to uni to return 2 books in order not to be fined, because the fine i had to pay was way cheaper than the transportation cost i hv to pay...

its was also the 1st time in my life that i attended a foreign language class: Japanese!! it feels so weird learning a new language and when half of the time u sit there just to trying ur best to figure out wat the japanese lecturer was saying in english... he's a middle aged man that carries the cute little back pack... a typical japanese lecturer that i had in mind. i hope this will be interesting learning the basics of all basic when he starts teaching us all the japanese alphabets (if thats wat u call it)...

if not for Japanese classes this wed, i think i wud be back at home making CNY cookies because there's no tutorials this week n 2 other lecture sessions are off due to a public holiday and a sick lecturer...

dont the food just look delicious... yum... love the Iranian cuisine at Naabs... the lamb kebab especially... even the yougurt looks great... and taste great too according to sara. its making me hungry now... i wanna go there again...



well its only our second time at Naabs but its as though the staff there remembered us on our 1st visit or something, when we arrived at the restaurant they greeted us at the entrance n straight away guided us to the table we sat on our last visit. its as though we were some regular diners who always sat at the same spot... man... really made us feel like VIPs.

didnt do much shopping this time cos i dun wanna over spend... only bought a top fr PDI and a pair of Levi's jeans which was 50% off. still had a great time wit the gals n i'm off to uni this sunday to start a new sem... why is my hols so short? at least i did most of the stuff i plan to do except 1...

top 5 things to do during my 3weeks(only) sem break:
1. go shopping!!! *tick*

2. go 4 a holiday by the beach *guess its not this time...sob*

3. RO!!! *tick*

4. indulge in iranian cuisine at Naabs *tick... yummy*

5. last but not least: EXERCISE to keep myself fit n try to lose that unwanted fat *did some work out but not enuf to lose weight*

1st of all, i'm so noob i dun even know how to customize my blog skin... well there's a lot to learn n i got a really nice fren to help me. she ammended the html code for me n i still cant mange to give my blog a new look, and she gave her blog another new look alreay *sob* so evious of her... those codes really dun ring a bell at all... i guess i'll be using the blogger template for some time...

2nd, i've NEVER been good in add maths since high sch, only got an average score in my SPM... n when i started Lower Six, i was undecided whether to continue wit science stream or transfer to art stream, n u know how i made my final decision? the 1st day the maths teacher came into class a gave us a question to solve... that's when i decided, arts it is... no more cracking my head over all sorts of funny mathematics, physics and chemistry formulae... n now in my 2nd sem of my uni life i meet a subject similar to add maths...the cousin - Quantitative Analysis. i'm so bad at it i merely pass my exam... with all the weekly study groups n exercise i still didnt do well...

i did my best n though i'm not expecting much, but some ppl just think that i'm only fooling around. Ken asked am i seeking anyone's recognition? maybe? i dun know...

oooh... i love shoes so so so so much... i kept telling sara how happy i was... n if not for money matters, i wud hv bought a 3rd pair...

i didnt get the XOXO purse fr my shopping trip, but got it fr my youngest sis instead(she got it fr a fren who migrated to Hawaii) cos she says its too aunty looking...

attended my cousin's birthday party at McD. kids nowadays are so lucky... played adults musical chair n all the gals got Disney Princesses souvenir except my sis n i cos i think we're too old for it... so unfair *sob* but discovered new boutiques to shop *smiles*...

hello everyone, welcome to my new blog! i've got myself a new blog for the new yr... why the sudden switch u may think, cos i dun really like friendster blogs, not much options to personalized it according to ur taste. well this is just a experiment post cos i'm not quite use to the functions over here n still exploring aroubd with wat i can do.
